[Dixielandjazz] Women in Jazz

If memory serves me right, I knew a fellow in Brooklyn NY
who owned a company called STASH RECORDS.
He released a number of recordings featuring only women
playing jazz.
There's a world class bassist, now playing guitar in Houston
called Erin Wright. On Long Island another great Bass player
Lynn Milano. For piano how about Barbara Carroll, Lil
Armstrong, Mary Lou Williams for starters?
I'm sure there are many more.
