Dear John,
Your 'translation' from the Virginia Lee version of "Who Wouldn't be Jealous of You?" is spot on, apart from the word "missing" in the penultimate line of the chorus.
I have also checked the following recordings, all of which (unfortunately) have an instrumental verse.
•Coon-Sanders Original Nighthawks Orchestra. 27 November 1928. Victor 21812
•Ray Miller and His Orchestra. 31 December 1928. Brunswick 4131.
[The Ray Miller verse is a wonderful muted solo by Muggsy Spanier.]
•California Ramblers. 1 February 1929. Harmony 839-H.
•West End Jazz Band. March 2005 or January 2007. Legacy CD 107.
•Sam Lanin. 21 January 1929. Banner 6289. I do not have this.
All have a vocal chorus that uses basically the same words, with only minor variations.
So the Virginia Lee rendition (19 January 1929. Gennett 6757) is the only one with the two vocal verses and chorus.
Unfortunately, I can't decipher the first two lines of her 2nd verse, but include below what I can 'hear'.
Between us (and anyone else who cares to listen to the link below) we may be able to put it all together.
My search for a downloadable copy of the sheet music was unsuccessful and, surprisingly, it isn't in (my mate and fellow DJMLer) Adrian Ford's collection.
I've summarised what I have below.
Very kind regards,
Bill.

"Who Wouldn't Be Jealous of You?"
1928 (Larry Shay - Haven Gillespie - George Frommel).

Verse 1:
I looked around for the longest time for someone to love,
But sweetheart I found you
I never knew for the longest time the worries of love
But now I'll say I do
I'll keep my eyes on you both night and day
So someone else won't steal your heart away

Verse 2:
Go tell your ma that the boys inside you kiss in the heart [dark]
Despite your wedding band (the ring)
Go tell your pa that the son-in-law is going to part
So he will understand
I'll take you right to the church and change your name
And beat the other fellows at the game.

Chorus:
Who wouldn't be jealous of a girl like you and
Who wouldn't be watching everything you do
I'm on my toes, for goodness knows
When you go out you're marvelous hard to doubt but hard to trust
Who wouldn't be hanging round your neighbourhood
So you couldn't be [missing] like red riding hood
Just look at those lips and look at those eyes
Who wouldn't be jealous of you.
