Yes, Marek, I, too, heard Eiji in Breda 6 years ago. He is very good,
but the real treat for me was banjo player Ken Aoki. He is not only
virtuoso (to the extent you'd never dream of) but he is a GREAT
musician,plays slow tunes wonderfully, improvises on literally anything
in any key. You can look him up on YouTube. We jammed with him, and he
is great. Not well known outside of Japan at all. He's been to Europe
only once (at that Breda festival).
