In case you missed it, Fox Movie Channel has been running one of Alice's less-shown
films, the 1938 SALLY, IRENE AND MARY - with Joan Davis, Tony Martin, Jimmy Durante
(doing his "Hot Patatta"), Fred Allen and the Raymond Scott Quintet (playing an extended
version of their "Minuet in Jazz"). The film is loaded with music and Alice has a
batch of good songs. Worth catching!
