[Dixielandjazz] Correct Pitch +The funniest thing I ever experienced about pitch

Last week I decided to watch my first ever Star Trek movie. I think it's the latest and features a back story about Spock quite near the beginning. The first few minutes were fine but I was soon called away and when I returned to resume the movie I must have accidentally nudged the DVD player into some kind of fast forward/ double speed function. However, this occurred at exactly the point Spock's back story begun and as it was set on some kind of Vulcan planet (forgive my Star Trek ignorance), with a cast of Vulcans I assumed their strange movements and very fast manner of speaking was a Vulcan trait and sat watching but understanding nothing for a good ten minutes before I realised what was going on! Having watched a few more minutes at normal speed I decided it was probably better watched at light speed and abandoned it.

All the best,

Allan Brown
