Alvino Rey played one set with us, the Fulton Street Jazz Band, in the Sac Jubilee, many years ago.   After the set I was putting my sax away and he came beside me to put his guitar in its case.   I said something like, "Where will you be playing after the Jubilee?"

He said, "Well, I'll be flying to Spain.   Every summer I spend a month with Andres' Segovia."

How about that?
