[Dixielandjazz] Couple of Neat Gigs

Hello Folks:
If you are in the Southeast PA, Southern NJ or Northern Delaware
areas, here are several upcoming Barbone Street Gigs you may wish to
attend:
1) August 31 (Tue) 8 to 10 PM - Ocean City Music Pier - $10 - Barbone
Street presented by Friends of the Ocean City Pops Orchestra
This is a legendary venue extending 300 feet into the Atlantic Ocean,
between 8th and 9th Streets on the Boardwalk in Ocean City New Jersey.
This is our 3rd annual "back by popular demand" appearance, Come
early for the best seating. We usually draw between 500 and 700 people
here.
2) September 1 (Wed) 7 to 9 PM - Upper Chichester Township complex -
Opening night concert on the ball field band stand. This Community
Days Festival/Carnival runs from Wednesday night through Sunday night.
Sept 1 through Sept 5. Township complex location is at 8500 Furey
Road, Boothwyn PA
3) Sept 8 (Wed) Noon to 1:30 PM - Jazz on the Riverfront. Pavilion
near the AAA Building on the Cristina River, Wilmington.
4) Sept 10 (Fri) 5 to 7 PM - Barbone Street Trio playing the Great
American Songbook, while the Laurels Art Show exhibits paintings,
sculpture and photographs by various "Artists of the Brandywine

5) Sept 11 (Sat) Noon to 3 PM - Jazz Concert at the Laurels CDE.
Featuring guest artist 15 year old jazz violinist Jonathan Russell.

6) Sept 12 (Sun) Noon to 3 PM - Jazz Concert at the Laurels CDE.

Fall by, hear some music, check out the horses, the antique cars, the
carnival rides, the riverfront, the art, the Jersey Shore, the
