Marek asked about examples of Bud Freeman on Clarinet:

Dear Marek:

Bud Freeman All Star Swing Sessions Prestige Records PRE24286

This has Freeman playing tenor with several groups. But with the last
group, he plays a little clarinet.

"Finally, a vintage sextet meeting with ill-fated trumpeter Bunny
Berigan, Eddie Condon, and Claude Thornhill showcases Freeman on both
clarinet and tenor sax in his upbeat original "The Buzzard" and his
delicious bluesy "Tillie's Downtown Now," titles which also reflect
his sense of humor. Highly recommended. ~ Ken Dryden, All Music Guide"

You might be able to hear Freeman's clarinet on "Tillie's Downtown
Now" at:
