Robert Spielmann of Mobile, AL. makes this comment. Bob is retired
executive of WKRG radio and TV of Mobile.

He has been a director of the Mobile Jazz Festival and is currently board
member of MOJO, jazz society in Mobile.

He's been a great friend to jazz in our area for many years.

Thanks. Bob. I stand corrected. Currently, I can't get Catt's radio
program. Of course, when he was with WHIL-FM, an NPR affiliate, I could
hear it clearly.

Catt, as usual, is right on with his comments. He certainly knows his
audience and what the jazz scene is, or should be, today. I hope Catt
continues to contribute to this forum in the future.
P.S. I disagree with your assessment, Norm, that Catt's format is smooth
jazz. I guess it would be more like "world jazz" if there is such a format.
