Hi,
I remember him as a regular on Saturday Night Music Hall on the radio.  He was as I remember very large but extremely nimble around the instrument.
I must have seen him at some point as I recall he would play with hammers between each finger on both hands. 
I knew nothing of music then ( and not much now) but he must have produced some spectacular chords. He always ended his concerts with a flat out speed display. The Devils Gallop and such. Haven`t thought of him in years.
