As coincidence would have it, news of Alan Frederickson's death came 
as I was working on remastering "Here 'Tis," a 1976 LP of the Queen 
City Jazz Band, to CD.  It's always been one of my most treasured 
LPs, because both the playing and recording quality are absolutely top
notch.

Whenever I remaster an LP that hasn't been reissued on CD, I prepare 
it for posting to the dixieland music group on Usenet -- an arcane 
corner of the Internet that predates the World Wide Web and will only 
be known about by serious nerds.

But since all the files were fresh & handy, I've put them in a 
directory on my own web site.  Feel free to download the music and 
scans of the album covers.  You'll find it all at
