Speaking of "Hucklebuck", bands that play "out" for "general audience"
gigs--eg weddings and parties where most of the guests aren't likely to be
Dixieland fans--should have the tune in their miscellaneous repertoire
folders.
It's a blues, has a familiar melody because it was a big hit for Chubby
Checker during the 50s rock'n'roll era. You play it with a twist beat.
You ought to have a number of tunes playable with rhythms besides the
usual 2-beat and 4-beat.
