In 1937, Teddy Hill's band visited Paris where Hill's star trombonist Dickie
Wells led a band which included Django Reinhardt as well as trumpeter Bill
Coleman. One of those recordings was a blues credited to Wells called
"Hangin' Around Boudon". There's an interesting vocal on it but nowhere have
I been able to determine who the vocalist was. The session date was July 7,
1937.
Also what was "Boudon"? A club, a street, or???
Thanks;
Stan
