[Dixielandjazz] Ed Metz Sr passes away

Dear List mates:

Sad news. I heard today that Ed Metz Sr. passed away today. No details  
yet other than there will be a small service in and cremation Bath PA,  
on Friday, Sept 4.

Plans are being made for a memorial service in a few weeks and it will  
include a musical tribute. I'll pass on details as soon as I hear them.

Ed was a fine man, good friend and wonderful keeper of the OKOM flame.  
He will be sadly missed.
