[Dixielandjazz] Visiting So CA and So FL

Shalom Jazz Fans,

My wife and I will be in the LA area Nov 10-18, and then in Ft Lauderdale
Nov 19-30. We'll be happy to hear of any trad jazz gigs along our path where
we can listen or play along. I'll be travelling with my banjo and a pocket
trumpet.

Katie Cavera has graciously invited me to sit in with her and CJ Sams on
Wednesday Nov 18 at their weekly gig at Curley's in Long Beach, CA. I'm
looking forward to this, and of course to see any old jazz friends or meet
new ones.

Meanwhile, back in Jerusalem, my Doctor Jazz Dixieland Band has had several
busy months of shows, including public concerts, a street parade, street
festivals, shows for soldiers, weddings, bar mitzvahs and other private
parties. We're getting hired to play with 5-6 players instead of 3-4, and
getting some higher profile gigs. We're excited about this latest quantum
leap. Check out our website for some good video clips.

Our next major show is December 10 at the Archaeological Park in the Old
City of Jerusalem, by the Temple Mount -- a great outdoor venue surrounded
by ancient stone walls. Admission free (airfare not included).
