This sounds wonderful, where is it?

Hello Entertainment Lineup! We are so excited for our event on Sunday and want to thank you again for donating your talent to our fundraiser!  We expect this to be a banner year - one that is the test for the future of this event an a gauge of its expected growth.  As stated to most of you ticket sales far exceed our wildest expectations - this event has taken on a life of its own!  We have sold 800 tickets and with vendors, talent, and volunteers expect over 900 people to be in attendance throughout the day on Sunday!  So, again, thank you!  We are overjoyed at the prospect of how much money we are raising this year for our deserving charities, and the entertainment lineup is just as important as the food - it all works in tandem to create a cohesive event!

An overview of our event:  An amateur gumbo and jambalaya contest featuring 8 contestants, A Food Festival featuring 19 valley restaurants and over 25 items to be sampled.  Your admission will allow you samplings of all food, complimentary water, soda, and juice, and 1 beer/wine/daiquiri coupon (additional can be purchased for $3 each).  We will have a green room for your use stocked with additional beverages.  VIC ticketholders/sponsors/judges gain admittance at 12:30, and General Admission ticketholders gain admittance at 1:00pm.  The event runs thru 5:00pm.  Each band will have a table for your members and support to sit at outside of your sets to experience and enjoy the day's festivities - they will be labeled with your band's name.

We will allow unloading to begin at 10am on the Heritage Square Plaza - loading diagram attached.  The stage in inside the Lath House on the 7th Street side of the building.  The stage size is 12 x 16, please let me know if this is not large enough for anyone, and if not, a preferred size, so I may secure more staging.  Once you have unloaded, please park in the Heritage Square Parking Garage, next to the Plaza Entry - bring your receipt for parking and we will reimburse you.

The lineup for the day is as follows:

CHECKIN:
12:15 - 2:00:  Bad Cactus Brass Band:  will be stationed at our main checkin area to entertain the crowd as they lineup and to help identify this year's entrance point.  May also have need for you to play throughout the crowd in the venue during switchouts - note the times below.  Looking forward to it!

STAGE:
12:30 - 1:15 Cheryl Thurston's Mardi Gras Jazz Band:  Cheryl, we are really looking forward to your group setting the tone for the day with our VIP Ticketholders - they are our target audience that we are marketing to for next year - not only are our sponsors in this group, but reps from many other companies that we are currently in talks with for sponsorship opportunities for next year.  We think your act is a perfect opener and will really get the crowd into the spirit of the day

1:30 - 2:15  Hurricajuns/Luther Jackson - Loose Cannon:  Guys we also have a Zydeco dance group who will be showing their stuff during your set - I know you will give them exactly what they need to show off their abilities!

2:30 - 2:45:  Jeff Java:  Hey Java - just kill it with some good old Southern Rock - do what you do!

3:00 - 3:45: The Preserve:  Fresh from your CD  Release Tour - we know you all are gonna blow the lid off the joint!  Can't wait!

4:15 - 5:00:  Dash Rip Rock - saw the show at the Rhythm Room last night - fun!  Can't wait for Sunday !

Please also refer to emails from Chris Fiscus to coordinate the stage kit - THANK YOU PRESERVE for the donation and coordination!

Please email me back with any questions or concerns you may have!
