Dear Dave,

At the time that the Alligator Crawl was written there was no such dance as
the 'Crawl' The Crawl was a Hollywood creation for Presley in the 1950's.
See 'Jazz Dance' by Marshall and Jean Stearns. Published in 1979. It appears
to be a learned tome, all 464 pages!

All the best,

Ivor Jones in deepest Portugal
