Dear Larry,
It was, in fact, written shortly after WWII.
A UK song, it was composed by band leader Billy Reid and published in
1948.
He recorded it at the time for Parlophone with Dorothy Squires.
It became a No.1 'hit' on Capitol for Margaret Whiting in July that
year.
Also recorded by Joe Loss, John Laurenz, Paul Fennelly & the Ames
Brothers, Monica Lewis and Sam Brown.
None of which provides you with a lead sheet, but may prompt the
memory of a British DJMLer who can.

has the words and chords.
Very kind regards,
Bill.
