[Dixielandjazz] Save The Date - April 10

Hi folks:

Quick note to say I'm playing my 4th Swing Dance for April. This one  
is in Pottstown PA, sponsored by SwingKat. I'll be appearing there on  
clarinet, along with Drew Nugent, a great young (22), Fats Waller  
style pianist, Jim Fryer (who many of you know)  on Trombone/Trumpet,  
Paul Salter, guitar and Skip Rohrich, drums. This is Drew's band and  
it is great for swing dancing.

Where: Ballroom on High at  310 East High Street, Pottstown. Parking  
Free in lot on the corner.
When:  Friday Night, April 10  9 PM to midnight - free lessons 8 to 9 PM
Cost:    $15

The dance floor is SUPERB, (this famous ballroom has been there since  
1928) the dancers friendly, and the music will be 1920s-30s. So come  
on out and Lindy, Peabody, Jitterbug, Carolina Shag, Charleston,  
Foxtrot or whatever. You'll be glad you did.

Also, Barbone Street just booked a Swing Dance at the Ballroom on High  
for June 26, so put that on the calendar. Our music will include some  
of the later swing as played by Goodman, Ellington and Basie, as well  
as Condon Style Dixieland Jazz.
