Dear all,

Here is what you requested: Marian Petrescu plays slow. We are testing
our Internet broadcast at www.jazzfestivalmarketing.com/live.html for
the weekend today. On Wednesday at 1 pm (Central European time) the
90-minute DVD of last year's Bohém Festival will be broadcast. You are
welcome to see the test. There is one tune on the DVD from the several
slow ones that the Antti Sarpila Swing Band played and it is the 7th
tune of the DVD (a Stryhorn composition). The testing will start with
technical adjustments and then, as I was informed, most probably from 1
pm (which is noon in London, 8 am in New York and 5 am in California)
they will play the whole DVD.

The whole programme of the DVD will be:

Bohém Ragtime Jazz Band (Hungary) & Jonathan Russell (USA)
- Caravan (Ellington)
- Honey Suckle Rose (Waller-Razaf)
- Black Beauty (Ellington)
- Tiger Rag (LaRocca)

Antti Sarpila Swing Band (Finland)
- Revolutionary Boogie (Sarpila)
- Shreveport Stomp (Morton)
- A Flower is a Lovesome Thing (Strayhorn)
- Fight for the Humble Fee (Sarpila)

Paris Washboard (France)
- Weary Blues (Greene-Cates-Matthews)
- Basin Street Blues (S. Williams)
- Bogie woogie

Bratislava Hot Serenaders (Slovakia)
- Tatransky Express (Mozsi-Kausitz)
- Cotton Club Stomp (Ellington-Hodges-Carney)
- So Tired (Morgan)
- Joj Zuzka, Zuzicka (Stelibsky-Valka)
- I Got Rhythm (Gershwin)
- The Broken Record (Friend-Bunch-Tobias)

So if you want to watch it, please, click on
http://www.jazzfestivalmarketing.com/live.html and then let us know how
it went, was it enjoyable, did you see any technical or other problems
etc. You can try to watch it ful screen, too (there is a button on the
player in the lower right corner). You might experience different speed
or probelms with streaming than us here in Hungary, so your feedback
would be essential to us. Thanks for your cooperation and stay tuned for
Strayhorn's wonderful ballad played by Marian Petrescu as part of the
Sarpila band.
