[Dixielandjazz] Oldest trad band continuously still playing

Here in the UK we have a number of bands which have been in existence for over 50 years and without thinking it about very hard I can name:-

Chris Barber's Jazz Band - over 60 and continuously since 1954 as a fully pro outfit. See www.chrisbarber.net for their current schedule which involves concerts in the UK, Germany, Denmark, Israel and various other countries. 

Acker Bilk's Jazz Band formed in 1956 and still going on the circuit.

Terry Lightfoot's Jazzmen formed in 1955

Then there are the many many semi-pro bands still continuing such as the Merseysippi JB.

Jazz keeps you young!
