The latest Hot Jazz Channel internet radio show is now "live" at
www.radiojazz.co.uk

The new show features the first international broadcast by the exciting
Buddy Bolden Revival Orchestra assembled by Australian author and researcher
Dan Hardie. Using authentic instruments and arrangements the band seeks to
recreate the sounds the first men of jazz probably made in the early part of
the last century.
Also featured this month are England's Ken Colyer Legacy New Orleans Jazz
band with a track from their new CD Further Evidence, the Bob Wallis
Storyville Jazzmen, Norway's Magnolia Jazz Band, Scotland's Ken Mathieson
Classic Jazz Orchestra, America's Galvanised Jazz band with French guest J-P
Alessi, from Canada the Patrick Tevlin New Orleans Rhythm with British guest
Brian Carrick, America's Smith Street Society Jazz band featuring Chicken
Joe's amazing tuba and with French guest Michel Bastide and finally the
Anglo-American Barry Martyn Band.
In the very popular archive segment this time are tracks by the 1950's Louis
Armstrong All-Stars, the 1929 Eddie Lang Orchestra and Chas Creath's
St.Louis-based Jazz-O-Maniacs of 1927. CDs being revisited this time include
those by Bob Ringwald's Fulton Street Jazz Band, Vince Giordano's Night
Hawks and the Chris Barber Band of 1954-56.
This new show - our 40th - was engineered by John Booth and devised and
produced by Brian Harvey
