Mille grazie. I think the book described to me was the "....Modern Method of Improvising.....". Have you ever heard of someone owning either of these books?

hi all,
I doubt Colin has it. I tried to buy it some years ago but was out of stock. they only have it on catalogue.
this book was published
in the 70ies, but Joe Tarto wrote two other books in the 20ies, very hard to find: 

"bass noodles - 100 modulation breaks and hot choruses for tuba ..." 
and
"Joe Tarto's Modern method of improvising for tuba and double bass for the dance orchestra"
