Butch's rendering of "Echoes of Spring" would be on my Desert Island list.

Perfectly stated...."soft caressing of the keys" is how I think of Butch,
also. Every note and chord, and also every nuance is heard.

A little late in the fray,
I cast my votes for Bethena and Solace and include especially our own "Butch
Thompsen's" treatment to Mamies Blues. Without the lyrics his soft carresimg
of the keys almost puts tears in my eyes. Thanks Butch
