[Dixielandjazz] Brubeck & Desmond

A short story told to me by Joe Morello.
He and Paul Desmond were messing around on riff  prior to
a gig. Dave Brubeck heard them and said [paraphrased]
"put a middle to that thing and we'll record it".
They did and TA DA - Take Five
Paul was dying of cancer. I was told that ALL MONEY
EARNED BY THAT TUNE goes the cancer fund.
