George Shearing will be 90 years old on August 13th this year.

Going off at another tack, did you know that the "QWERTY" keyboard was 
designed by the inventor of the typewriter with the intention of slowing 
down typists because the early mechanism was cumbersome and slow. 
Unfortunately, N comes in front of M which means that a word like 
"stimulated" can easily be "stinulated", that is not easy to spot when 
proof-reading.
