Bob, a smal historic lesson.
The correct name for our country is The Netherlands but people often use the
name Holland. However, actually this is only part of the country, the
western provinces. And I have the impression that people originating from
that part or living there, think that's the real active part of our country
(The government has its seat in The Hague).  I'm living in the eastern part
and don't like their ideas (we say with the Bible in mind: the Wise Men came
from the East), so in only very few cases I say I'm from Holland. But it has
nothing to do with Norway!!
Another historic point for you: Until 1848 The Netherlands and Belgium were
one country....
