The Jelly Roll Morton website has been updated with the following 10 items
of significant interest:

Brian Goggin sends an article titled, "Gas Wrecks Residence" from The Fort 
Wayne Weekly Sentinel, dated 1st March 1905.   A terrific piece of research 
on a future associate of Jelly Roll who went on to become one of the most
important recording engineers of jazz records.

Brian Goggin an article for a previously unknown Jelly Roll Morton and his
Red Hot Peppers engagement at Cliffside Park, Indiana, Pennsylvania from the
Indiana Evening Gazette, dated 28th May 1931.

A terrific MP3 of "Mr. Jelly Lord" played by Jim Turner (pianist with the
Jim Cullum Jazz Band) and vocalist Topsy Chapman (original cast member of
the Broadway show "One Mo' Time).

Prof. Albert Haim sends an article titled, "Jelly Roll Morton in New York by

Danny Barker" from The Jazz Review, dated May 1959.   Plenty of anecdotes 
about Jelly Roll in this in-depth article.

Brian Goggin sends an obituary notice for Jelly Roll Morton from The Salt
Lake Tribune, dated 12th July 1941.

Don Rouse of the Potomac River Jazz Club send a superb photograph of Baby
Dodds, Bunty Pendelton and Marty Marsala from the Beale Riddle Estate. 
Special thanks to Hal Smith and Butch Thompson for identifying Marty Marsala
and Bunty Pendelton and to James Hogg for helping out with this.

A superb MP3 of "Oil Well" played by "Pam" Pameijer's New Jazz Wizards with 
English pianist Ray Smith.   Ray was a close associate of the late Ray 
Foxley, a great Morton performer.

Brian Goggin has updated his WWI Draft Registration Card and Essay on George
William Mitchell, with a contribution from jazz historian Paige van Vorst.
