Hi, I am in Lelystad, The Netherlands, preparing for a gig tomorrow night at
"Jazz an der Ruhr" in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany. I play with a quintette,
originated by the legendary DSCB bass player Bob van Oven, the "Black & Blue
Masters". Our signature tune is: "Black and Blue" for some reason. We play
mostly Sidney Bechet's music, but also Bob's compositions.

Bob is no longer with us, he hopefully plays now with the BIG band in the
sky, but his son, Ivo, replaces him.
