[Dixielandjazz] Ballade

Dick Sleeman asked about Charlie Parker's "Ballade".

I haven't seen the chord changes, but my ears tell me that perhaps it  
is based on "As Long As I Live", albeit at a slower tempo  Parker  
wrote few, if any, tunes that were not based upon some other existing  
tune chord changes. Sometimes he would combine two tunes by using a  
different bridge.
