Mea Culpa. (My bad)

I previously posted that Peggy Lee and her 1st husband wrote "Fever"  
That is wrong:  The composers were John Davenport (aka Otis Blackwell)  
and Eddie Cooley. Peggy and her husband changed the lyrics and thus  
shared composer credit for their version. To hear what Rhythm and  
Blues folks call the "definitive" version, made by Little Willie John  
several years before Peggy Lee's cover version, go to:

Note also that Elvis recorded it after Peggy Lee.
