A Rosetta Tharpe number was used on a British TV commercial, and happily the mp3 or whatsomever was secured from  www.document-records.com
 who got paid. 
 
Document even packaged it to attend to demand.  The full story should be on the document site, to which I refer list members because document is after all an enthusiast-run organisation. Lots of Sam Price blues accompaniments -- come to think of it all of them into the 1940s 
 
Bill Haesler certainly knows the label. 
Of course there were also car commercials featuring "Nicole" & "Papa" and Martin Taylor's admirable squeezebox, saxophone, guitar &c. Django ensemble on the soundtrack.
