Aye, there`s the rub.

I used to be in a band called The Acedemic Footwarmers which consisted 
mainly of teachers from a local school.
We were no great shakes but we were adequate.

Someone had the bright idea that the schoolchildren who were learning music 
should give a concert. As a boost the band would go along and each 
bandmember should sit inwith the kids who were playing his particular 
instrument. Our sax player sat on the end of a line of kids who were 
learning sax. The trumpeter sat with the trumpet learners.
I used the school drum kit and had about 6 kids all waiting to take their 
turn.
Very humiliating. There seemed to be at least one kid on each instrument who 
could play  better than we could.
