[Dixielandjazz] Sacred Tunes in a Secular Setting

Anyone who tried to impose a ban on "The Saints," "Flee As A Bird," "Just A 
Closer Walk With Thee," "Just A Little While To Stay Here," or a hundred 
other spirituals in secular venues in New Orleans would be laughed into the 
street. If he persisted, he would be escorted into the street (and not 
gently).
