Here is a concert review of a Barbone Street's performance a week ago.
BSJB bottom line? We are your fountain of youth. <grin>

We all know the accomplishments of Steve Barbone as "The Groomer", his
great
contributions to TRADJAZZ news and his participation in Bill Taggart's
picnics
and recordings in Lafayette, NJ. We however, were well rewarded to
catch his
SUPER performance on Sunday, February 8th at the Pennsylvania JAZZ
program in
Wind Gap, PA.

Steve and his group (Paul Grant-trumpet, Cindy Leiby-trombone, the award
winner Steve wrote about in TRADJAZZ 2/4/09, Mike Piper-drums, Mike
Kuehn-Banjo,
and Jim Parker-tuba) rocked the walls and rafters of the American Legion
Lodge!! What a tremendous musical program and narration performed by
outstanding
musicians! Three hours of fantastic music. By the end of the first
set, the
average age of the audience went from age 75 to age 45. The audience
was "so into
it" they enjoyed the program "Big Time". A standing ovation was well
deserved
at the end of the program.

THANKS Steve!!
