The Monterey Hot Jazz Society will be meeting for Jazz and Dancing from
1:00 PM till 5:PM on this coming Sunday February 8 at the Monterey Moose
Lodge in Del Rey Oaks, Ca. Our Guest Band will be the “The Toot Sweet
Jazz Band.”

Toot Sweet is a high-energy band that plays traditional New Orleans
style jazz. Their enthusiastic, energetic style reflects the influence
of Turk Murphy, Bob Scobey, Lu Waters, Eddie Condon, Louis Armstrong,
and the Firehouse Five (Plus Two) band among others. They have an ever
expanding and diversified repertory of great music, that is highly
entertaining and very danceable. The band was formed in 1990 and is from
San Carlos .
