Ken Franckling has a 5 page article about happening in jazz plus the most
complete list of jazz people who died in 2009. Also, in my reading, I noted
Wynton's name mentioned only ONE time, a kind of relief (smile).  He didn't
mention Teachout's book about Armstrong  or the new biography of Thelonious
Monk.  Obviously, Franckling  worked hard on this  article and is to be
commended.
