Friends: 
The San Francisco Bay Area has lost a long-time devoted 
jazz fan. Reno Fogli died Friday, August 7, at his home in 
San Mateo. His wife Willie and his three daughters were at 
his bedside. 
Reno remembered listening to Lu Watters' music and regularly 
heard Turk Murphy's band. In recent years he has been at the 
Cafe Borrone most Friday nights to listen to Clint Baker's band. 
A celebration of Reno's life will be held on Sunday, August 16, 
from 5-8 PM at Kingfish Restaurant on B Street in San Mateo. 
All are invited. 
This is a sad time for those of us who knew Reno.
