[Dixielandjazz] Clarinet player wanted in San Francisco

I went to the bar in San Francisco to see what that was all about.  
Curiosity gets the best of me.  The noise was so deafening from the dice  cups 
slamming on the bar, people yelling, etc.  I met with Norman in the  midst of 
all the clamor.  He said, play "Don't Fence Me In."  I played  Don't Fence Me 
In.  He said "play Alexander's Ragtime Band, but instead of  that I slipped 
off into Darktown Strutter's Ball, whoops, sorry Norman.  My  husband was 
sitting about five feet away and couldn't hear me!  
 
What an adventure it was, don't think the tips would be much as the gang  
that hangs out there are all pretty young, don't look like the tipping type, 
but  probably would if they could.  And whoever gets the gig is going to 
need  plenty of amplification and very strong nerves.
