[Dixielandjazz] Cab Calloway - Birth of the Blues

Dear List Mates,

Cab Calloway is purported to be the first, or among the first, to  
record the song "Birth of the Blues".  However, I can't seem to find  
such a recording by him in Rust or anywhere else I have looked. Was  
the recording perhaps not under his name, or at least not with him as  
leader?

I'm hoping someone on this great list must know the answer.
