I fear this evidence is inconclusive since I own a recording in which Eddie refers to "Gene Sha-roader-eye".Excellent cuts on the LP by the way. 
 
I would be interested in knowing if Gene S. is still with us? He certainly was a "pillar" of the Condon sound IMO.
