[Dixielandjazz] A True Palace Orchestra

They just played Oakland, CA this last weekend - I had a conflicting  
gig so I missed them. I know somebody mentioned them to DJML a few  
years ago (probably Steve) but I was also reminded about them on a  
totally non-musical list. Just got a lot of their CDs and they are  
really outstanding musicians! I also got a DVD with several of their  
concerts. I have some recordings of Weimar Era bands and this group  
has done a great job recreating the feel & style.

I se that they are headed back to Europe now...
