[Dixielandjazz] A Skiffle Band

Fun stuff! I have heard Eldorado a few times before, but based on the
instrumentation/history that has been recently presented, isn't this
more a traditional jazz band format with washboard? I don't think it
can just be repertoire that makes it a Skiffle band.

BTW, the term "Tea Chest Bass" keeps running through my memory in
Skiffle lore - Wiki agrees with me:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tea_chest_bass

http://www.oldspiceboys.com uses one very nicely.

and a rockin' duo here:

There are quite a few younger groups that take the Skiffle idea into
"Post-Rock" - San Francisco has a trio named "Rube Waddell" (after the
baseball legend) that does blues, jazz, sea chanties, Balkan Brass and
novelty songs using a stage full of home made and manufactured
instruments - lots of fun!)
