Hi Steve,
I checked out the list, I am 1929 vintage.  I then checked to see how many 
songs I knew in each decade from 1899

In 1899 (7) in 1900(5).in 1910(7),1920(7), 1930(10),1040(9), 1950(10) 
1960(4), 1970(1) 1980(3).
1990(1) 2000(0).

It seems that changed so much after the 50`s that I lost interest. 
Interesting that I knew so many songs written before I was born.
