Pam,

You may be right, but remember all those songs about "Lucky"  
Lindbergh? Maybe Charles W. Beebe was almost as famous. Without  
lyrics we will never really know, I think.

been pretty young in 1930 to be a super celebrity, his column in the  
New York Herald Tribune  was later.
