Fundraisers with bands from the other end of the continent can be more
expensive than our monthly concerts.
Tickets were $25 in advance,
which were available to the STJS Office
and that I sold at Feb. "Jazz Sunday."
I tried to set up and sell at the Jan. "Rent Party"
but the Crab Feed ladies would not permit me space at the table.
I gave free admission to anyone who offered to help me as a volunteer
on the night of the concert. 8 people enjoyed the show that way.
I am so sorry you had to miss the concert on account of finances,
which is why I had to miss our $45 Crab Feed,
which was very well attended by STJS folks.
Love and hugs,
Nancy

"...lack of interest" ? Hardly.
The $35/ticket had a lot to do with it.
