[Dixielandjazz] A Night At Nicks's

Beginning this Thursday, June 26, Riverwalk Jazz (Jim Cullum's Site)  
will be broadcasting a program entitled "A Night At Nick's".

It's a wonderful program of music along with anecdotes of people who  
visited Nick's to hear that wonderful music. Some list mates have  
supplied personal stories about Nick's and i's impact on Dixieland or  
"Nicksieland" in NYC from the 1940s and 1950s.

Folks who played there included Miff Mole, Pee Wee Erwin, Billy  
Maxted, Billy Butterfield, Bobby Hackett, Sidney Bechet, Tony Spargo  
(Sparbaro) Kenny Davern, Sal Pace, Andy Russo, Lee Gifford,  Chuck  
Traeger, Phil Napoleon, and a host of lesser lights including me.
