For those who don't know Congressman Powell
was the husband of pianist Hazel Scott.
I received an email from Adam Clayton Powell III
just after putting up a web page for H.S. back in
2001.
I sent him a cd of Adam Clayton Powell Jr. preaching
at the church in Harlem and featuring a teen aged
singer (with choir). The teen ager was Joe Williams.
