[Dixielandjazz] Hot Dance Band

Surely the description "hot dance band" could apply to an ensemble playing nothing but waltzes, but indoors on a blazing midsummer afternoon in Johannesburg on a stage without air-conditioning? 
Or a balalaika orchestra in particularly lively form? Or a balalaika orchestra in exceptionally lively form rehearsing indoors on a blazing midsummer day in the middle of the Australian desert, without air-conditioning, and not having seen a woman in some considerable time until a buxom twenty-year-old in a bikini, drawn by the exotic Slav music, suddenly came into the rehearsal-room dancing in a manner liable to kindle lascivious longings.
