Much of what OKOM jazz bands play isn't jazz either until they modify  
it for jazz.  Thinking here of the American Songbook, Show tunes, Pop  
tunes, etc. Same extends to straight ahead jazz. Like Peggy Lee may  
have made "Lover" into a jazz tune, but it was written by Rodgers as a  
waltz.

Shoot, the OZ'ers even made Waltzing Matilda a jazz tune. Right Bill H?
